Emmis also holds the majority stake in Hungary's #1 national radio station, Sláger Rádió and owns and operates Be One radio in Belgium, Rádio Expres in Slovakia, and majority shares in Radio FM+ in Bulgaria. Emmis International has also held equity interests in Talk Radio in the UK and in the leading AM and FM stations in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Recognized by its peers as an innovator, Emmis created the nation's first 24-hour all-sports radio station (New York City's WFAN), the first rhythmic Top 40 station (KPWR in LA), and the first adult classic soul station (KISS-FM in New York).
